Towel Holder Innovation
Team Lead · CAD
A freshman design project built around a deceptively useful engineering constraint: make something simple enough to manufacture at scale.
Design
Led CAD and concept development with manufacturability, efficiency, and scalability as core requirements.
Team
Coordinated teammates while they handled report writing and drawing contributions, keeping the technical concept moving toward a manufacturable solution.
Towel Holder Innovation — Original portfolio notes
This is a group project I led during my freshman year, where the goal was to design a simple, mass-manufacturable part. I took the lead on the CAD design and overall concept development, ensuring the part was both functional and optimized for manufacturability.
While my teammates focused on writing the report and contributing to the drawings, I coordinated our efforts, making sure we stayed aligned with the project’s objectives and timeline. My role in the design process was crucial to ensuring we met the necessary standards for scalability and efficiency in manufacturing.
